YOU VS THE PROCESS
AT LEAST THAT'S HOW IT STARTS OUT
The Process is for the man who’s achieved his own version of excellence but wants to know how far he can really push his limits. It’s a game of sorts. You vs The Process – at least that’s how it starts out.
Without the luxury of knowing what to train for, the most difficult physical challenge of your life becomes even more of a psychological one. It becomes you vs you. To preserve the integrity of the challenge, we must leave most of the details undisclosed. But, if you take a look around the site, you’ll find clues as to what you’d encounter if you were to join The Process.

INTENTIONALLY FACILITATED POST-TRAUMATIC GROWTH
Post-traumatic growth is defined as the “experience of individuals whose development, at least in some areas has surpassed what was present before the struggle with crises occurred. The individual has not only survived, but has experienced changes that are viewed as important, and that go beyond the status quo” (Tedeschi and Calhoun, 2004). Individuals have described profound changes in their view of “relationships, how they view themselves and their philosophy of life (Joseph and Linley, 2006).
Attendees will be stronger mentally and physically from the experience. They may gain wisdom and maturity beyond their years.

HOW IT WORKS
THE MOST WE CAN SAY...
For 8-days, each day builds upon the last. You don’t need to come with any specialty skill experience but you will be expected to learn quickly. Every day, individuals will attend multiple mini-courses taught by some of the best in their respective industries ranging from tactical, to survival, to self-defense and more. Intermingled with these courses are challenges and tests. As the days go on, challenges get bigger, bolder, and more intense.
We create the controlled environment and you bring the best you’ve got. This experience is not for the faint-hearted or weak-willed. There will be no hand-holding to complete the challenge and so we highly expect there will be individuals who remove themselves before completion.
Will you be one of them?
1. Process Work-ups
Attendees will receive an initial package with coordinates, final packing list, and a series of tests and questionnaires for their closest family/friends. With this feedback, we custom craft aspects of each attendee's experience appropriately. This is also your time to train so that you're in peak functional fitness for The Process.
2. Undertake in The Process
Survive or thrive in 8-days of challenges. Cadre put attendees through a series of nonlinear tests, challenges, and courses which gather data from them in a way that accurately captures each attendee's current state of being.
3. Post-Process Profile
After attendees have completed 8-days of The Process will receive a P3 - a Post-Process Profile from our behavioral analyst team which details and analyzes their performance and identifies areas of strengths and weaknesses which need improvement. The P3 includes pathways to advance and grow in all of these areas for optimal growth.
WHAT FINISHING ATTENDEES WILL RECEIVE
Dedicated Behavioral Analysis Team
Cadre will analyze everything attendees say, do, and don't do throughout the undertaking.
The P3 will be sent to the candidates who finish all 8 days of the process in the months following the event. The analysis process is lengthy and accurate.
Radically New Perspective
Through an expertly facilitated process of post-traumatic growth, attendees may experience varying levels of growth in the weeks and months following The Process.
WHAT TO EXPECT
For the duration of The Process, attendees will be provided food, sleeping system, weapon system, climbing system, navigation equipment, clothes, and other miscellaneous items one would need to attempt completion. All tactical and survival skills will be taught during the undertaking. No prior experience is necessary to attempt completion.
Details: 30 attendees will meet at coordinates XX.XXXX° N, XX.XXXX° W at 1200 hours. The coordinates will be sent in a package to attendees after their contracts are signed. Attendees will bring with them the items identified in the packing list. Attendees must present their bus ticket and sealed documents identified in the initial package at this time. Orientation.
Details: 3 tactical classes. 2 challenges. >2 tests.

To the souls behind the Special Forces Experience, I am not sure that my tears have stopped since Joel (CAN10) walked back into our arms on Saturday morning. Why would I want to do this?
(p)Personality + (e)Environment = (b)Behavior
(p)Personality = Big 6 + Dark Triad + Low/High Self-Monitor + Health + Motivations + Values + Genetics + Classified A + Clasified B + Classified C
Throughout the Process, our behavior analyst team will be monitoring everything you say, do, and don’t do. After you’ve completed (or completed what you can of) The Process, you’ll receive a thorough Post-Process Profile from our team on your favorite topic – you.
The Post-Process Profile will break down and analyze the (p)Personality traits and tendencies and (b)Behaviors observed after you’ve been stripped of your identity and placed in cognitive and physical challenges. In order to accept something about yourself, especially something uncomfortable, it first must be recognized. This kind of acceptance takes place when you build up the courage to put yourself in situations where you can really look into your own shadows. That’s the only true way to understand an individual’s strengths, shortcomings, and blind-spots. Awareness of one’s limitations is an initial stage of optimizing the Self.
(p)Personality + (e)Environment = (b)Behavior
In this context, (p)Personality is defined as the combination of your traits, values, and motivations that form your distinctive character that commonly can be modified through experience. (e)Environment is defined as the surroundings or conditions in which you operate. (b)Behavior is defined as your observable activity in which a coordinated pattern of sensory, motor and associated neural activity responds to your changing external or internal conditions.
As you take responsibility for your (p)Personality, The Process alters your (e)Environment[al] reality through cognitive and physical challenges which will affect your (b)Behavior. After this undertaking, some men will go out with a whimper, and some will radically upgrade their ability to respond to stimulus consciously and wisely. While we can’t guarantee you’ll fall into the latter category, we can promise you’ll have an entirely new perspective on your Self which is a priceless leap forward in itself.
Intentionally Facilitated Post-traumatic Growth
Post-Traumatic Growth is positive change experienced as a result of major struggle and adversity. While The Process is a “new” experience created to facilitate this growth, the idea that humans can be changed by their encounters with challenges, sometimes in radically positive ways, is not new. The theme of PTG is present in ancient traditions, literature, and philosophy.
Post-traumatic growth tends to occur in five general areas – all of which will be at varying levels of intensity depending on the individual:
- Closer relationships with certain people who matter to you
- New opportunities and possibilities in life that have emerged from the struggle, opening up possibilities that were not present before
- Increased sense of one’s personal strength
- A significant change in one’s spiritual or belief system.
- Greater appreciation and gratitude of life in general
Your Post-Process Profile and your experience in The Process will show you everything you need to know about yourself to level up. Only you will know what to do with that information next.
Becoming the new breed of leader
Wounded from the outset, you must do battle with your shadows, overcome the limitations of your mind, surrender your need to control life, and find your true self before you can awaken and take the real initiative.
We believe leadership is in crisis. It has been for hundreds of years in many countries. The good news is there’s never been a better time to lead as people are finally realizing that the collective can do better. The new breed of leader our communities need has activated evolved versions of his virtues of humanity – and that’s what we believe will be the result of many men who complete The Process.
What is The Process not?
The Process is the ultimate challenge for men looking to see what their warrior side is made of. This is not a TV show or a study. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the man who’s achieved his own version of excellence but wants to know how far he can really push his limits. It’s a game of sorts. You vs The Process – at least that’s how it starts out.
Where will The Process be held?
In either Northern Ontario, Canada or Northern Idaho, USA.
Attendees will be given the exact meeting coordinates in their initial package once they have registered. They will be responsible for getting to these coordinates on their own. A bus will pick up the attendees to take the group to their final destination.
What is included in the cost?
The following will be provided for the 8-day undertaking:
- Transportation (Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from the coordinates which will be provided in the initial package)
- Each individual who finishes will receive a Post-Process Profile a few months after the event customized based on how they performed.
The following items will be provided for the 8-day undertaking but must be returned at completion:
- Sleeping system
- Climbing system
- Navigation equipment
- Other undisclosed items needed to attempt completion of the Process
What do I need to participate?
Before we accept your registration, you must be interviewed by one of our special ops individuals. Logistics will reach out to you to schedule this call.
If you are selected to participate, you must:
- Be willing to provide a background check or police certificate before the event
- Get a physician’s sign-off that you are healthy enough to participate which includes a bloodwork check to ensure every participant and staff’s safety. HIV testing (must include p24 antigen and HIV 1+2 antibodies), Hepatitis B testing (negative Hep B Surface Antigen [HBsAg]), and Hepatitis C.
- The cost is $7K USD/CAD and may be paid in monthly installments if preferred.
What are some of the areas The Process is testing?
Situational Judgement Tests are a type of psychometric test that presents you with realistic (in this context) workplace situations and a variety of ways in which you could respond to them.
Situational judgement is an important element in a variety of life’s challenges. Implementing various situational judgement tests throughout the Process helps us to identify whether the individual is likely to react to trying situations in the most effective manner.
The big-five personality test has been used by psychologists for years in order to measure the strength of certain personable characteristics, the accuracy of which has led to its use by prospective employers and recruitment companies.
By creating situations where a candidate’s “true colors” shine through, we are able to get a much more accurate reading on the big-5 personality traits.
Inductive reasoning tests measure your ability to logically and rationally solve problems based on observed patterns.
Psychological research has found that inductive reasoning tests are highly valid measures of a person’s cognitive ability and therefore is a frequently used selection tool in some elite organizations.
Numerical reasoning is the ability to understand and draw a logical conclusion from numerical data. Psychometric research has found that numerical reasoning tests are powerful predictors of high performance.
Mechanical reasoning tests measure an individual’s ability to understand and solve mechanical, physical and technical problems. We will assess the candidate’s ability to work with pulleys, pivots, weights, forces, fluid and other mechanical/physical principles under distress.
Verbal reasoning is the ability to understand, comprehend and critically evaluate written or verbally communicated information. Verbal reasoning tests typically provide a passage of information, around a paragraph in length, and require candidates to answer questions related to the information presented in that passage or to simply follow directions under distress.
Critical thinking tests measure an individual’s ability to analyze, conceptualize and reason effectively. Critical thinking tests will be used to measure critical thinking in a number of ways. They will often comprise of multiple different sub-tests within a single test.
The Resilience Tests determine the strengths of certain personality traits from the individual’s responses to them, which will provide a greater understanding of their current characteristics, helping to promote self-improvement by presenting areas of limitation.
